About TSL

TSL is dedicated to strengthening individual and group practice and to bringing an understanding and realization to the benefits of Buddha Dharma to Colorado Springs.

We do this by sponsoring the presence of highly regarding Buddhist practitioners and teachers.

Tibetan Buddhism

In Tibetan Buddhism, there are four main teaching lineages: Nyingma, Sakya, Kagyu and Gelug.

At TSL, we receive instructions that are primarily in the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism. These teachings may be characterized by its emphasis on the development of Compassion and Wisdom.

TSL invites the participation of everyone interested in finding out more about Buddhism as well as those devoted to practicing the Buddhist path.

Since 1993 The Colorado College Chaplan, Bruce Corriel, has graciously provided TSL an area for us in Shove Chapel for teachings and meditation. We will continue to meet on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in Shove Chapel, 1010 N. Nevada Ave., for prayers and meditation. Our schedule will occasionally vary, so please contact the Center at (719) 447-9880 for more information. Visitors and newcomers are always welcome.
